Doctor Ossbita

Introducting Doctor Ossbita . Introducting is not an English word. Says English dictionary everywhere Background Ossbita is an anagram of Sbaitso. Ossbita holds a legitimately fake doctoral degree from an unknown field of science thus the Doctor title. Doctor Ossbita will respond with heuristical approach with predefined railways using probabilities to make the chosen path a tiny bit amusing from using the technique of proceeding to a solution by trial and error or by bartending rules that are only wearing loose saggy wardrobe. I Don't Know What to Think (Attack of the Puppet People - 1958)

I was listening to this movie Attack of the Puppet People (1958) . Mostly listening, because I was typing something else with the keyboard. But man, the optical-effect and compositing technique in the movie is legendary. Anyway, I heard this line from the movie: I don't know what to think. That's not true, I do know.... Bwa... (scene changed) I stopped my typing and rewound the scene. Oh, it is actually abruptly cut in the middle of the "Bwa..". Bwa, what? I laughed first. Then I looked around for the original version, found it. I rewatched that particular part again... Oh, that "Bwa.." Understood 🫡 The unintentional cut was actually funny . The Abruptly Cut Scene The Original Scene Mystery Is Solved Power of Bwa... would be a versatile line if we were Bwa... See what I did there? Proven.

Have you ever been curious about carrying around your $2,000,000 ? 😎 Like, hey, can I use one backpack or what? NOT ANYMORE. I mean, don't you worry anymore. Introducing the new and cool (or confusing, either way) Cash Carry Calculator , the triple C's. Four C's if we count the "cool" part. Proudly presenting the assumptions in the app. USD Banknote Dimensions The same for all denominations: $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100. Length = 156 mm Width = 66 mm Height (thickness) = 0.11 mm Averaged Containers Capacities (Cubic Millimeter Unit) Regular envelope = 750,000 mm³ Regular briefcase = 17,500,000 mm³ Regular bagpack = 25,000,000 mm³ Regular gym bag (tube-shaped) = 35,000,000 mm³ Let’s Go Calculate the Above Curiosity! If we use the Cash Carry Calculator , indeed, 1 (one) backpack is estimated to be sufficient to carry $2M (two million dollars) in $100 bills. So there you go, mate. One regular back...

Math: How to Add New Items with Equal Positional Gap Distribution to an Existing Sequence

The title is so cool. Do I get a t-shirt coupon? 😂 Background Consider we have 8 grey boxes . So, we will count the box as such 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 , 8 Then we wanna place another 3 new red boxes to those boxes lineup with evenly distributed gap. How to do it? This will be useful in programming or other engineering field that needs adding new items to that existing sequence. I sometimes forget how to do it. Thus, I put it here as my own reminder. I hope you'll find it helpful. It is not necessarily (directly) related to the series or sum formula for arithmetic or geometric sequence, but more to the pattern recognition and sipping some liquid while looking at the pattern 🍵🍷🍺 It's about adding new items to existing clusters, creating new clusters where the new items are distributed with roughly equal spacing between them 🐒 Let's Get Right to It Again, we have box index sequence 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 , 8 Then, we need to add 3 new red boxes to the lineu...

JavaScript: How to Insert an Element After a Reference Element (Custom putAfter)

We are going to create a helper function like jQuery after(...) or insertAfter(...) . Because jQuery already claimed insertAfter , we'll use other term for the function name. Let's call it putAfter . In this, we actually will implement insertBefore method. It goes like this: /** * Inserts a new DOM node after a specified reference node. * * @param {Node} newNode - The new node to be inserted into the DOM. * @param {Node} referenceNode - The reference node after which the new node will be inserted. * @throws {Error} Throws an error if the reference node does not have a parent. * * This function: * - Traverses sibling nodes to skip non-element nodes (e.g., #text or comments). * - Ensures the new node is placed after the reference node, * or at the end of the parent node's child list if no valid next sibling is found. * * Example Boolean Logic for `while` loop: * - `nextElement && nextElement.nodeType !== Node.ELEMENT_NODE` evaluates as: *...

Given Recent Events

I heard "given recent events" from Super Shark (2011) Let's use that formal tone in casual daily conversation. Guy : Hey dude, given recent events you superglued my chair, how can you be standing right here in front of me? The assessment of your decision-making is questionable. Dude : Given recent events of me walking from my cubicle and meeting you here, I may or may not laugh. But for certain, I am properly amused by your comment. Guy : You were not wise to superglue my chair despite recent events. Dude : Given your buttocks have seat cushion stuck on them, recent events are indeed hilarious. My assessment is... (deadpan) Guy ...

Changeling

I was curious about the term changeling and I asked ChatGPT for its versatility in delivering information. A changeling is a creature from European folklore, a supernatural substitute created by fairies to replace a stolen human child, often appearing as a deformed or uncanny version of the original. ChatGPT After some banter of wit, this happened. The Movie "Changeling" (1980) I thought I was gonna watch an actual changeling. Nope. It was about "game of thrones" drama in a certain wealthy family — mistery trope, with substituting the murdered child with another child using the same name, plus some utensils and doors moving around, accompanied by ominous music. Where's the changeling bit in that? The child replacement? But that's human substitution. And the kid-specter in the movie was seeking vengeance and justice, maybe justice, well, and vengeance. I don't think changeling is seeking for that concept to begin with. How dare ...

How to Solve Unwanted Hissing Noise from Nokia E3511 Earbuds

Background I have this Nokia E3511 for about 2+ years. Well, it has its quirky touch triggers. But overall, it's quite good for the reliable Bluetooth connectivity and the sound being produced (flat). I especially appreciate the ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) feature for the budget. I don't use it for online meeting, the mic isn't really a thing there unfortunately. I use it to watch movies and listening music or ambient noise (rain, pink noise, etc.) only. One day, I opened the box, and each was automatically connected to my laptop. The left earbud produced static hiss noise like insane. I put back them again in the box, repeated the process. That time, I noticed, even before they were connected, the left earbud was already producing the noise when I took it out; when it was ON. So, I deducted that it wasn't Bluetooth connection related or laptop related. Instead, it was hardware related, as in the DSP (Digital Signal Processor) of the earbuds. Usually, dig...

Spring-Based Magazine

It can mean: Firearm magazine with spring mechanism (default). — Self explanatory Periodical publication containing articles and illustrations which only published in Spring (awkward but still makes sense). — Self explanatory Periodical publication containing articles and illustrations with spring as its base (content-wise). — A magazine all dedicated to springs Gocklock or Geckolock?

Gocklock or Geckolock?

It's Glock . It's the striker-fired (direct spring push) and that spring-based magazine mechanism. Well, since Glock patented it first, so I just generalize any handheld gun (using magazine) without hammer cock in sight as that, Glock. I actually forgot the term at that time, hence that "Gocklock or Geckolock?". And then there's that song from Carpenters rang in my head, "Why Do Birds" song, I mean "Close to You" — "Why do lightbulbs, suddenly appear". Depiction of Geckolock: Exterior Depiction of Geckolock: Interior As you can see at the interior, it is completely a baffling piece of engineering and there's a gecko being stuck there for naming reason. It perhaps, if we wish upon a star, will spurt some sort of tiny gears or screws when the trigger is pulled. Plus the whole awkward utensil will just break uncontrollably. Or is it brake? We should stop this madness. Brake it is then. How to Brake Something Unco...

Baboon Onesie Wearing Piranha (Piranha - 1972)

I was watching Piranha (1972) . I thought it focused on piranhas, like chair getting gnawed, or piranhas stealing ATM cards, or piranhas selling lemonade at their tiny stands, like that. But nope. Most of the film, 99.9%, was about something else completely 🤣 I was anxiously waiting for any piranha scene or their dialogues about piranha. It never happenned. So, I imagined the piranhas were wearing adorable yet menacing baboon onesies swimming around synchronizedly hoping one day this movie would show the scene. Again, nope. INSTEAD, there's one scene where a guy just scratched his armpit, I thought he was reaching his nipple. And in another scene, another guy tucked his pistol in his pants like it's no biggie. He just fired the thing there, I mean the barrel would be... chillin'? So then, if you want to watch another movie, it's relatable. Baboon Onesie Wearing Piranha can mean: Piranha that wears a baboon onesie. — Default. ...

How to Capture a Full-Page Screenshot in Chrome or Edge

Google Chrome Hit F12 or CTRL + SHIFT + J to open browser console. Click the opened console, then hit CTRL + SHIFT + P , or... Click the vertical three dots on top far right on the console, then click Run command . Then type in capture or screenshot . Pick (click) the Capture full size screenshot . You need to provide where to keep the screenshot. It will be an image with .png type (usually). And BAM! A full grown screenshot is saved. I mean full page screenshot. Microsoft Edge Almost similar to the above steps. But Edge has different shapes for the icons. Instead of vertical three dots, Edge has the horizontal three dots . Same location, top far right of the browser console. The rest of the steps are similar. And BAM! ℹ️ Limitation Content Served With Iframe For website which implements iframe for Content Security Policy (CSP) Enforcement (or sandboxing ), for instance, Blogger — the preview page, and many other sites — especially wi...

Tape Confiscator (Monstroid - 1980)

This is an excerpt from Monstroid (1980) . It was a thrill watching bobbing up and down scenes at the beginning. It's like the cameraman was nodding along and vibing with the dialogues. I suppose it was because the improper digitalization or perhaps the source itself which was not in pristine condition. After the reporter said, "Who the hell do you think you are?", the scene switched. I was waiting for the man's response, but no luck. Thus, I made the response in the video below. His duty is to confiscate VHS tape left and right by request or by himself. He's the elite TAPE CONFISCATOR force. Apologies, video frame needs script. PLEAES EBANLE JAAASCIPT. Music is Abyss O'Rifforus

Chess: Scandinavian Defense: Blackburne-Kloosterboer Gambit

Even the opening title is wild there, fellas. I played defense, black side. I did the d5 annoying response to e4 , right? But I did not do "innocent" Scandinavian defense. I was, "Whoops, wrong premove". It's like tripping on my own set of feet. But somehow, my opponent was already in deep rage mode. Thus, this happenned. BAHAHA. Pardon me. You can use your left and right arrows on your keyboard or use the mouse scroll to see the moves back and forth on the chessboard. But first, click the board.

Dreadlock Forest Dude

The term was coined by ChatGPT in our hilarious discussion about video generation. ChatGPT was deadpan-professor-serious about Sora because, well, I was (am) not familiar about the exact prompting. After some ridiculous banter, ChatGPT blurted the term, I laughed. So, big applause to ChatGPT and Sora. I hope you enjoy this. Here's Dreadlock Forest Dude. He's not carrying any sharpies, slightly borderline normal compared to Tarzan. Well, not really. Video was generated using Sora (sora.com), music is using Metallien , edited using Microsoft ClipChamp, and converted (compressed) using FFMPEG library. Jason the Leave Anyone Alone

Jason the Leave Anyone Alone

This is Jason, the infamous psycho. In mainstream media, he's known as a psychotic slasher. Here, he's still that, but with an unwavering commitment to honoring the command: "Leave me alone." A perfectionist at heart, Jason brings unmatched dedication to his psychotic tendencies. Jason seldom ventures far but fiercely defends his forest territory. Anyone who dares trespass will face his grasp, defined by the farthest reach of his vision—especially during a full moon, when the forest is illuminated but, conveniently, not set ablaze. Lurking Day One day, a girl wanders into Jason's domain. Jason, with his stylish lurking technique, lurks from the bushes. Being photogenic is a must for Jason. Kablam! Jason appears in front of her. He holds a machete, but it looks like he either glued and/or stapled the thing onto his arm. The girl gasps. Jason, as he never spoke to anyone, being silent. Jason's arsenal of masks, each with slight variations, incl...
